Project objectives
The objective of the action is to safely and efficiently treat domestic wastewater in Mashta Hassan and Chadra by constructing a sewage network to improve water quality at the household level, as well as by increasing capacity of the Waste Water Treatment Plant and the main sewer pipeline in Mashta Hammoud. 

Project Summary
This project comprises the provision of a primary and secondary sewage network for the two villages of Mashta Hassan and Chadra, an increase in capacity of the Waste Water Treatment Plant at Mashta Hammoud, and an upgrade of the pipe pipeline size in Mashta Hammoud. Primary and secondary pipelines will service these communities which are both located at higher elevations, ensuring that natural gravitational advantages are utilised to the maximum potential.

Activities achieved 
The project achieved the design of the upgrade sewage network system and Waste Water Treatment Plant in Mashta Hammoud, and the design of a sewage network system. Moreover, the construction of the upgraded sewage network system and Waste Water Treatment Plant in Mashta Hammoud is in full swing.
