Project objectives  
The project overall objective is to support the most vulnerable crisis-affected populations in Akkar district through improved basic service delivery. The project specific objective is to improve and extend water supply services and water usage in target Municipalities in partnership with the North Lebanon Water Establishment.

Project  Summary     
In line with the Lebanon Water Sector Strategy and the Lebanon Crisis Response Plan, the project supports Lebanese authorities and the North Lebanon Water Establishment, in order to address immediate needs of vulnerable populations in target communities of Akkar District through improved water supply.

Activities achieved
This project was introduced to local stakeholders and initial consultations were conducted.

Project Budget
1 950 000 Euros, including an EU contribution of 1 755 000 Euros.
