Project objectives
The project overall objective is to provide sustainable water supply in adequate quantities to the most vulnerable population in Lebanon.
The project specific objective is to improve reliable access to safe water and sanitation (solid waste) for highly vulnerable host and refugee communities in areas of Southern Lebanon most affected by the influx of Syrian refugees in a sustainable way.

Project Summary
The project will provide safe water and improve sanitation conditions for the most vulnerable Lebanese and refugee populations by upgrading public water supply infrastructure and management. By improving basic services and living environment, this action will contribute to reduce tensions among communities.   

Activities achieved   
Identification and preliminary design of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene infrastructures have been conducted, along with awareness raising activities on solid waste management.

24 months.
